Last night the Howard University Institute for Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Innovation presented the Alumni Roundup team with The Alumni Entrepreneur Award. Though I was hesitant to head down to DC accept it, it was a really good time, and I’m glad I took the time away.

The thing is, when you are doing what you want to be doing, its a distraction sometimes to step away. When I was working my jobs in corporate I would take any opportunity to bounce. Funny how the tables turn.

So I dipped down for the day. Had time to talk and converse with incoming President Ribeau and his lovely wife Dr. Ribeau, and jetted back this morning in time for breakfast with my new friend…
