  1. 1. Luniz Operation Stackola
    2.Raekwon..Cuban Links
    3.E-40 in a major way
    4.Roots- Do You want More
    5. Russel Jones- 36 chambers

What should be #1 in my book that year was:
JT Tha Bigga Figga- Dwelin' in the Labb
That is a straight hip-hop classic but it's not on the list.

  2. 1.Raekwon: Only Built for Cuban Linx
    2. Mobb Deep: The Infamous
    3. KRS One: Jive
    4. Method Man: Tical
    5. Keith Murray: The Most Beautifullest Thing
    The CLASSIC: Raekwon

  3. HM: To Mobb Deep: – Shook Ones!!!

5: ODB Return to the 36th Chamber: Most Hardcore album of all time
4: Method Man Tical: The mystique of the Wu was in high heights. 1st day purchase
3: Redman Dare iz a Darkside: We still felt some ownership of this artist. He was still approachable
2: Smif n Wessun: Whoa! I played this album all over DC on my walkman while riding my bike.
1: Raekwon The Purple Tape!!! Classic. More hits that 2 typical albums. Problem is I can't play it anymore as I know every single nuance of the entire album. No more surprises…

  4. 1. Method Man – Tical
    2. Roots – Do you want more
    3. Keith Murry – The Most Beautifulist
    4. ODB – Return to the 36
    5. Raekwon – Built for Cuban
    *Classic * Naughty by Nature

*Disclaimer* As a New Jersey native I would have picked RedMan but I liked "What?" and "Muddy Waters" better than "Darkside."
