Entertainment mogul Sean Combs was recently awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Pictured below at the unveiling ceremony May 4, 2008, Combs was quoted as saying:
“I’m from Harlem, New York, so to get a star in Hollywood is just mind-blowing,” Combs said. “You can get a lot of things, but when you see those stars on the ground … that’s something I can’t even say I dreamed of and to be getting recognized for it is definitely something I’m gonna have my whole family out there for.”
Hats off to you sir. From a faithful watcher of Run’s House (Combs produces) and a firm believer that rappers CAN be role models, you deserve it.
