One response to “Interviews: Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard on “The Help” Movie”

  1. I wanted to say that i liked the movie. After seeing the movie, I was wondering why there were so many negative comments. Basically, that was exactly (from what I heard) how it was back then. It was funny but to the point. I persoanlly liked Minnie Jackson (Octavia Spencer) who helped the lady that didn’t have good “social skills.” She reminded me of me. To the point and really didn’t matter what others had to say about it. Lost her job – know a little bit about that. I enjoyed her energy and how she brought others to the lady to write the book. A go-getter. Didn’t like the fact about her boyfriend/husband beating her. No one should abuse or harass anyone.

Yes, I wished that someone of color had the chance to bring it to the movies. But as we all know, sometimes we don’t get that chance. So hat’s off to everyone who had a part in the movie. Go see it and look at what the story is about instead of looking at who actually wrote it. I’m very pro-equality but I realize that our time will come when it’s time. Be thankful. If I could’ve had a part and make $1,000, I would be cool with that. At least I could say that I was in a movie that went to the “BIG” screen.
