For the love of handbags…

I have several Vuitton pieces, but the images above are my faves. The Manhattan PM, this is my only small purse, I fell in love with her the spring that she came out and have been in love ever since. Multicolor speedy 30 in white, I purchased her in Los Angeles last March, I call her Cali. My Stephen Sprouse Speedy 30 in orange, I hated this bag the first time I saw it, but at the same time couldn’t take my eyes off of it. She finally won over my heart and I bought her. She’s ugly but I just love her to death! My Neverfull Damier, once again, I can fit everything in this sucker, you gotta love that. A day trip with three kids and a husband, Neverfull is coming with me baby!

And finally my Insolite wallet in monogram canvas. I LVOE this wallet, it holds everything and doubles as a clutch because of its size. So on days when I just dont feel like carrying a bag, she is PERFECT for running out to grab a few things, quick store trips or nights out on the town when a bag is just too much to think about. So what are your faves?

Take a look at this wishlist of handbags! I dont know about you but I love big purses, they are necessary and I need the room! I throw everything but the kitchen sink in my purses… my wallet, pens, pencils, lip gloss, notebook, phone, post it notes, hats, scarves, comb, brush, hair clips and ties, macbook air, camera, flip camera…you name it its in there. So! Im lovin’ the Tod’s D Bag Bauletto, with beautiful light brown, super soft calfskin leather. It can be carried by hand or on your shoulder with the attached shoulder strap and retails at around $1445.

The “New Jackie” Gucci handbag, came out last summer. Im a fan of classics and could care less when it came out, I love this bag. It comes in several colors ranging from the classic Gucci brown logo to white, red, black, python and more. I really like the python edition of this bag but hate the price. It retails at around $2995. The Louis Vuitton Crocodile Neverfull, LVOE it! But this chocolate brown dream will remain on my wish list as it retails for $32,000.00. Supposedly there are only 2 or 3 of this bag in the United States! The Vuitton Suhali GM in white, this wish will definitely become a reality! I love the clean lines on this bag, you can carry it on your shoulder or by hand. Finally, a sneak peak at a new Louis Vuitton handbag from their Spring/Summer 2010 collection reportedly slated to be released around February. Cant wait, I will be purchasing that one!

Looking for a collection that is not over-done, over-logoed, and simply timeless? Try my new obsession, Valextra. Valextra handbags have become a symbol of Italian luxury and exude a look of clean lines, timeless appeal, and impeccable quality. Their collection comes in an array of colors, but I happen to love the simplicity a cleans lines on the white ones! You can find Valextra handbags and accessories here.

Finally I was too tired to create more images last night but I could not go without mentioning this bag that I saw while walking through the mall in Tampa one day. The bag is called the “Large Leather Tote” from Banana Republic and it retails for $98. This bag is SO soft! And aside from being large enough to (once again) hold everything but the kitchen sink, it also fits on your shoulders and can be used as a great shopping bag! This bag looks absolutely beautiful in white and brown when you see them in person.

  1. Love , Love , Love your picks!

I am also a big fan of LV, and cannot live without my handy dandy speedy! I also was not a big fan of the Stephan Sprouse graffiti but its grown on me …the one you have in orange is a great Fall Bag.

My every day bag is now the Speedy Damier in Azur and my next purchase will be the Damier(ebony) I know , I know, everyone has one these days, but its a great switch from the monogram, goes with everything, easy to carry and fits all my stuff!

My wish list – LV Monogram Lockit, Vintage Dior quilted bags, Speedy 30 Damier (ebony)!

    Keep us posted

  2. I got my first Coach at 27 maybe?!? Which one was it? Hell if I know… it was a gift. LOL
Since then I have bought 2 more and they are very small – again I couldn’t tell you which ones they are.

I have never been able to join in on the purse/handbag craze. That will likely never be me…
