Black College Alumni Chapters donate Thanksgiving baskets to local residents
Members from four Historically Black Colleges and Universities(HBCU’s)alumni chapters set aside school rivalries, in the name of giving recently, if only for a day. FAMU pitched in with Bethune Cookman while Morehouse worked alongside Hampton during their annual Turkey basket give-away.
Three HBCU medical schools out-ranked Ivy Leaguers
Howard University, Morehouse College, and Meharry Medical School out-ranked Yale, Harvard, and Stanford Universities in a recent national study for having a strong social mission as part of its medical teachings.
