  1. As a FAMUan and SME in the RE investing industry I would love to contribute insight and knowledge of the current state of the market.

Currently, my blogs are featured in the Active Rain community [a network of over 82,000 members]. For samples of my work, I invite you to visit my site at http://activerain.com/klarque.

    I’m excited about the opportunity.

    ~Klarque

  2. I’m interested. Check out the blogs I’ve posted for some off the top, somewhat inspired takes on things. Mildly controversial, opinionated but witty and hopefully thought provoking…

    Lemme know what you think.

  3. I think I have fresh perspectives to offer, support my opinions well, can be objective and respect views different from my own. I’ve always been pretty handy with a pen in areas from the editorial to the technical writing. Feel free to check out some of my comments on this site and myspace.com/sultryreign. Other samples provided upon request.

  4. Look no further! I am what you are seeking. I am an 18 year English teacher (so at least I can edit my own work, huh?) and a former morning show personality with 95.7R&B (in Norfolk, Virginia). I did a witty, edgy morning advice show (Twisted Advice with the Twisted Sisters) for the Hampton Roads area. I have an opinion (about nearly everything), and I am not afraid to share it. I realize others have blogs, web pages, myspaces, and facebooks to boast their talents. I simply give you…me!! I’m up for the challenge. Are you ready to get “twisted” thoughts of a truly TWISTED SISTER?

  5. I am an experienced sports/political journalist and current editorial consultant who would love to contribute to the Round-up.
    Experience: Google my name.

  6. I’m a freelance writer at CBS and I would like to contribute to this as well. Please let me know what i can do.

  7. Being a political junkie and a parent; not having a traditional upbringing; having lived in different parts of the country; having friends from all (and I mean all) walks-of-life; oh yeah, and did I mention being a lawyer – are just a few of the areas that qualify me to keep the information and opinions coming on Rattlerroundup.com.

I enjoy a good debate, but I also like to learn tidbits and educate others on little known facts and ideas. I have written articles for publication in the past, and I just enjoy sharing. I may already have some pieces around the house ready to go!

  8. I would love to be able to contribute by opinion, regularly blogging or whatever works. I’ve got some strong opinions, believe that wit and sarcasm is usually necessary when making obvious comparisons and am currently trying to finish writing a fictional book of my own. I also have a nice collection of poetry that I’d be more than happy to share.

  9. I am a freelancer writer as well as teacher who has been published in several publications (although I have not penned anything new in a while). I specialize in editorial and commentary and would love to get the chance to write. I might already have some stuff. Check out my blog.

  10. I’d love to contribute. I’m an educational consultant and would love to help parents evaluate the effectiveness of their kids’ teachers and schools.

  11. I’m a lady of many hats and writing just happens to be one that I passionately enjoy. I’ve been writing since the fifth grade and even had a book published that I won for the Young Author’s award that same year. I majored in Mass Media Arts and I’ve also been apart of the Dow Jones Journalism workshop!
I love writing about anything, from the Green movement, to Barack Obama, to the business of life. Just check out my blog! I have many readers all over the world who check out my writings daily. I will also have my first article featured in Jersey Woman Magazine in their next month’s issue.

  12. Hi I would like to write a piece for BigBlueRoundup.com I’m a published author, a former writer for the Meter and I blog every now and then.

  13. I’m the best candidate, because: I love controversy; I can attract readers and provoke them to think! If that’s what want; I’m your man!

  14. Hi! I’m a freelance writer and I’m interested in sharing great travel ideas and destinations, at least once a month, with my fellow Hamptonians. I specialize in Asia, since I lived there, but have traveled to quite a few other places that I will write about, intending to get away from the over visited Caribbean and Mexico. Please check out some of my articles on the eHow website. I hope you can take something from them.

  15. I am interested in contributing to the roundup. My area of interest and expertise is education, particularly for African Americans. I am currently an associate professor at an HBCU. Would be interested in offering commentary and observations on educational issues impacting our communities.

  16. I would love to write about the world of raw food, veganism, healthy food, eco and sustainable living for the 21st century. I own a raw food catering company and I’m launching my online business all about healthier living for the 21st century!

  17. I am interested in offering work to your website. I have 7 years experience in the mortgage industry and can provide insight on the current real estate market. I am also versed on credit repair and basic financial education.

I have been a vegetarian since 1994 and also have worked in the nature foods industry for over 10 years. I can offer insight on vitamin supplementation and healthy lifestyle choices.

I am also a lover of music and have some ideas for podcasts that I think would help broaden the scope of the alumniroundup website. I also enjoy interviewing interesting people who are doing extraordinary things. Please consider me and let me know what the next step is. Thank you for your time.

  18. I look forward to reading all of your writing samples and sharing the proposed column ideas for the upcoming magazine. While I will do my best to get back to each of you personally as quickly as I can, I encourage you to please send your writing samples to me at mbroussard@alumniroundup.com.

I look forward to emailing all of you!

    Best,

    Maya-Camille Broussard
