Attorney General Andrew Cuomo accused the landlords of a Brooklyn apartment complex Tuesday with discriminating against African-American potential tenants.

Cuomo sued the owners and managers of 1648-50 Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn, saying they violated housing and civil rights laws by not showing available units to black applicants.

“These buildings failed the test. They violated the law,” Cuomo said.

The suit followed a probe by Cuomo’s office in which black and white testers visited the apartments and inquired about availability. Black testers were told there were no apartments available when there were some ready to be shown, Cuomo said.

The management company, Golden Touch Management, declined to comment.

Calls to the owners of the complex, 1650 Realty Associates, were not returned.

Cuomo also reached a settlement with the owners of a complex at 1750 Ocean Parkway. They agreed to pay $40,000 in damages, comply with fair-housing laws and provide anti-discrimination training for rental agents.
