Grads Round Up On The Web

Graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are maintaining their strong college ties via the Internet thanks to the efforts of Howard University alumni Bryndan Moore and his brother, Rustin, who’ve launched the Alumni Roundup network. It all started with BisonRoundup.com, geared toward alumni of the Moore brothers’ alma mater. The response was overwhelming and today their network boasts 16 sites all catering to major HBCUs including Alabama State University (ASURoundup.com), Fisk University (FiskiteRoundup.com), Grambling State University (TigerRoundup.com) and North Carolina A&T State University (TheAggieNation.com). “I’m totally knocked over, I’m overwhelmed,” says Bryndan. “We’re five months in and we have 50,000 registered members across the networks and that doesn’t include the people that come on the sites and don’t register. We have over a million page views a day.
