[People on the Move] Malik Yusef

My Name is… HI, My name is, Hi My Name is shzzhchittshzgghhit Slim Shady .. Nah my name is Malik Yusef the Wordsmith, AKA Notorious Brad Spit AKA The Ghetto Gordon Parks.

The reason you are reading about me is… ‘Cause I am not a human being but I do live on Earth.

Right now I’m working on... My New Album “Malik Yusef and Kanye West Present: Good Morning & Goodnight

But if I wasn’t, I’d be… Probably running wild in the forest with a pack of wolves.
One thing I do every day is… Wake up and activate my inner cheerleader… and put more duck tape on my inner hater.
I can’t stand when people… Let themselves feel powerless

But I love it when people… Take control and command of their situation no matter what it is.

If you happen to run into me in the street… Guard ya Grill

The Best piece of advice I ever received was…. The wolf at the top of the mountain is always less hungry than the wolf coming up the mountain. So always be climbing, Always be hungry.

If I had to coin it, my message would be…. The fantasy is everyone wants the truth but the truth is, everyone wants the fantasy.

My future plans and projects include… Implementing literacy and music programs into schools independently of government interaction and funding. Using musicians to fund music programs, using writers to fund literacy programs. Taking education from the 1900 model to the 2000 model.  To stop blaming the victim and stop putting the responsibility of youth education on the youth.

Big Ups to… Biggups to my Team, Pamela Blackman (my Manager), my label mates G.O.O.D. Music, my business partner Barundi Partlow, Black Men in the United States of America for daily surmounting tasks that only giants have dared to try and to our ancestors who went into their graves with smiles on their face believing that we would exist.
