Drive One For Your HBCU

ford

Hey family,
I hope by now you’ve watched my involvement with FORD and have been entertained by the videos that I’ve been producing with the FORD FiestaMovement. After speaking with some reps realized how much buying power we have, they wanted to let me know about another initiative they are running that directly effects all of us.

Ford has just released an initiative in conjunction with the Tom Joyner Foundation to contribute money to our beloved HBCUs. For every HBCU student or alum who tests drives a Ford from now until January 4th, 2010, FORD will donate $25 to the Tom Joyner Foundation specifically for your HBCU. We can earn up to $250,000 for our schools!

Here’s what you can do to help:

Register Online for a test drive in a 2010 vehicle at your local FORD/Lincoln/Mercury dealership.

-Visit your Local Neighborhood FORD/Lincoln/Mercury dealership for your scheduled Drive One For Your HBCU Test Drive in any of the newly launched 2010 vehicles.

-Visit the FORD sponsored tent on the following campus dates and get a chance to check out the newly debuted 2010 FORD Taurus SHO and the 2010 FORD Fusion Hybrid:

    Florida A&M University – October 23-24, October 27
Clark Atlanta University – October 29-31
    Tuskegee University – November 5-7
    Howard University – November 12-14

-Tell a friend, family member, HBCU student or alum about this great opportunity to give back.

Let’s make sure we hit the max on this one, if we all make it a point to take 20 minutes to visit our local dealership, we can raise the $250,000 in no time..

Which HBCU will stand up and raise the most money?

  1. Alumni Family,

We’re going to have a video crew at each of these events and we need your participation in a project were working on. If you have a story to tell about a memorable time in college that involved a vehicle, and you’re not afraid of the camera, WE WANT TO HERE IT!

My best story is about the time two of my best friends from school drove from DC to Miami and all the insanity that ensued on the way. In the end, one of the reasons we ARE such good friends is because of trips like that and all of our shared memories.

So this weekend TH October 29 – Saturday Oct 31, we’ll be in Atlanta on Clark’s campus at the Ford booth. Ask them for the Alumni Roundup guys! You can also leave us a message at (720) ALUMNI-1.

So Atlanta if you can make it out PLEASE come and HELP us out!

The best stories will be featured on Roundup TV and beyond.

Immortalize your story and help us out at the same time!

    -Be Moore
